Apple Cinnamon Float Mocktail

  • Author: Isabella Russo
  • Total Time: 10 minutes
  • Yield: 2 servings 1x

Description

This easy and irresistible apple cinnamon float mocktail combines tart apples, warming cinnamon, creamy vanilla ice cream, and sparkling apple cider for a festive, cozy treat. Perfect for chilly nights, movie gatherings, or kid-friendly celebrations.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 medium fresh apple (Honeycrisp, Gala, or Fuji), diced
  • 2 cups (480 ml) sparkling apple cider (unsweetened preferred)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 generous scoops vanilla ice cream (about 1 cup total)
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) lemon juice
  • Ice cubes (optional)
  • Cinnamon sticks (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

  1. Dice the apple into small 1/4-inch cubes. Toss with lemon juice to keep fresh.
  2. Optional: In a small saucepan, combine maple syrup and ground cinnamon. Warm over low heat for 1-2 minutes, stirring until fragrant and blended. Let cool slightly.
  3. Add diced apples to a mixing bowl. Pour the cinnamon syrup over and stir to coat. Alternatively, sprinkle cinnamon over apples and drizzle with maple syrup.
  4. Divide the apple mixture evenly between two medium glass mugs. Add ice cubes if desired.
  5. Slowly pour 1 cup sparkling apple cider into each mug over the apples, pouring along the side to preserve bubbles.
  6. Top each mug with a generous scoop (about 1/2 cup) of vanilla ice cream. Let it float on top without stirring.
  7. Garnish with a cinnamon stick or thin apple slice, and sprinkle a dash of cinnamon over the ice cream if desired.
  8. Serve immediately with a long spoon and straw.

Notes

Use dairy-free ice cream for vegan version. Chill ingredients and glasses for best results. Pour cider slowly to avoid overflow. Prep apple mixture ahead for quick assembly. For less sweetness, use unsweetened cider or reduce syrup. Garnish with cinnamon stick or apple slice for presentation.
