Instructions

  1. Start by prepping your chicken breasts. Place them between two pieces of plastic wrap and pound them to an even thickness, about 1/2 inch thick.
  2. Set up your breading station with three shallow dishes. In the first dish, place the flour seasoned with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. In the second dish, add the beaten eggs. In the third dish, mix the breadcrumbs with grated parmesan cheese.
  3. Dip each chicken breast into the flour, coating both sides, then shake off any excess.
  4. Next, dip the floured chicken into the beaten eggs, ensuring full coverage.
  5. Finally, coat the chicken in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere. Set aside on a plate while you prepare the sauce.
  6. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add enough olive oil to cover the bottom. Once hot, add the breaded chicken breasts in batches and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  7. Once cooked, transfer the chicken to a plate lined with paper towels to absorb any excess oil.
  8. In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Sauté the minced garlic for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
